Cut toes off of socks! 

Make a slit from bottom to the heel! 

Turn inside out! Serge together, or use overlocking stitch! 

Finish waistline with elastic, whatever you choose! 

Ready to wear! 

 

Don't be like me! Finish the legging the same day you start them! I'm just lazy today! No waistbands until Sunday! No model until June! Happy Sewing! 

Icy Day 2 Project

Same pattern as I used in my first Icy Day project!  Just wanted to make a variety of items for my baby girl! I need to work on my flower skills but still a great day! Tomorrow I'm making a shorter version peasant top and leggings! Stay tuned....Happy Crafting!

Found a cute and easy pattern a while back..printed it..and did absolutely nothing with it! Thanks to www.onceuponasewingmachine.com for the pattern. Find the instructions, pattern, and picture tutorial under Peasant Dress! Since the power was out...what Else could I do to keep me from being bored! Cut fabric from this pattern! When the lights came back on..I sewed it together! Love the outcome. I used cheap fabric for the first run to see how easy/hard the pattern and instructions were! Easy peasy! Thanks to my awesome sewing machine and sharp scissors..I was done in no time! Have fun! Happy crafting! 

Couponing again!

So glad I have neighbors that refuse to pick up their sales flyer that is delivered on Sunday! Little do they know or care that it usually has coupons in it! My first trip to Bilo this week! Plenty of Toothpaste popcorn for little to nothing!

No Coupons Deals

I use one coupon found in the Rite Aid paper as I entered the store. 5.00 off Keri Lotion which it's original price was 5.99. I had rewards on my card in the amount of 20.00. I was planning on using it in my first transaction but at rite aid you have to spend exactly what you have on the card in order to "cash it in". So that's why you see all the snickers candy on the first transaction and then I returned because it wasn't worth it!, considering buying the maxi pads would give me 10 extra dollars in rewards! Smart Right! Either way I'm just getting back into "cutting coupons" so Subscribe because when I post a deal... you had better hurry and get it before the shelves are empty! Happy Couponing!

Deal of the Day!

Anytime I post this you have to immediately go to your local store to redeem this deal! Why you say? By the time I post this after I have redeemed the deal, it may be a day or so later and then most shoppers have done it, at least once! Either way Walgreens has a deal on Simply Slim buy it for $10 get $10 back in Register Rewards! So in the store SOME of the boxes have a $10 coupon on it! So when you purchase it with coupon, you should only be charged tax! Woohoo! Then you take your register rewards and but whatever you want out of the store! In this case I bought toilet tissue and paper towels! Who really doesn't need that paper goods! I paid OOP (Out of Pocket)1.80 for simply slim and tissue and paper towels! well worth the two minute drive! Just wanted to share! Happy Couponing!

Goodwill Haul 12-10-12

Went back to Moncks Corner to find another glitter deer. I had no luck with a second deer or any other Christmas decor. As for clothes and shoes, it was truly my day!

NWT shoes 3.99 a pair!

New Pillowcases 4.04! New Curtains! 6.96 a piece!

NWT shirts were 3.79, Dress was 5.99! this is one of the dresses I returned..it had lips all over it! Different but not for me!

The Following day took the two dresses back and exchanged them for these ...

Although I spent an extra 6 dollars on the return trip, 

I'd say it was all worth it!

Goodwill Trip 12-7-12

I had business to take care of in Moncks Corner and had 2 hours to spare until it was time to get my daughter from school. I thought let me check out their local store and see what I can find in a hour. Woot Woot! Found some great items from my haul!

Found a load of covers for the Nook, Nook Color, Kindle and Kindle Fire for 6.96 a piece.

I didn't buy these but just in case you all needed them. Moncks Corner Goodwill has them so get there QUICK!!

These off white and gold vases will be used on the fireplace . Will upload pictures of them in my Christmas  Decorations Blog. Hopefully I will be done with decorating by Friday!  Color Scheme this year is Glitter Glam.

New Bucco Sandals Size 10 was a rare find for me! I never find new shoes in my size at Goodwill.  Paid 3.99 for them so that was cause to buy these "Out of Season".
