Funky socks into leggings?

Get funky socks! 

Cut toes off of socks! 

Make a slit from bottom to the heel! 

Turn inside out! Serge together, or use overlocking stitch! 

Finish waistline with elastic, whatever you choose! 

Ready to wear! 

 

Don't be like me! Finish the legging the same day you start them! I'm just lazy today! No waistbands until Sunday! No model until June! Happy Sewing! 

Icy Day project!

Found a cute and easy pattern a while back..printed it..and did absolutely nothing with it! Thanks to www.onceuponasewingmachine.com for the pattern. Find the instructions, pattern, and picture tutorial under Peasant Dress! Since the power was out...what Else could I do to keep me from being bored! Cut fabric from this pattern! When the lights came back on..I sewed it together! Love the outcome. I used cheap fabric for the first run to see how easy/hard the pattern and instructions were! Easy peasy! Thanks to my awesome sewing machine and sharp scissors..I was done in no time! Have fun! Happy crafting!
